We love being your bookshop on Portishead High Street. Somewhere to browse without hurry, ask for a recommendation and discover a book you didn’t know you wanted.
Your support keeps good books on the shelves, brings authors to Portishead and helps local readers come together. Buying directly from us helps most, but plenty of useful things don’t cost anything.
Tell someone
If you found a good book here, say where you found it. If someone needs a recommendation or a present for a reader who’s difficult to buy for, send them our way. We enjoy a challenge!

We can order far more than we can fit on the shelves. If you’re looking for something particular, ask us. If it’s available from our supplier, we can usually have it ready to collect the next working day.
