We love working with local schools and helping more children discover books they’ll enjoy. Whether you’re planning an author visit, looking for a book stall or ordering books for your classrooms, we’re here to help.

We’ve had the pleasure of supporting local school events with Katya Balen, Alastair Chisholm and Joseph Coelho. There’s something special about hearing an author talk about their work, where their ideas come from and how their stories found their way onto the page.

We can help with ordering books for an author visit and, where it suits the event, provide a book stall for pupils and families.

For author visits, school fairs and other events, we can bring a little of the bookshop to you. We’ll work with you beforehand to choose a varied, age-appropriate selection that’s right for your pupils and the occasion.

We can offer discounts on selected school titles and study guides, and can help with larger orders. That might be a class set, curriculum-linked titles or new books for a classroom or school library.

If you’d like a hand choosing, we can put together reading lists by age, subject or theme, or help you find fresh books for a book corner or library. Small groups of pupils can also visit the shop and help choose the books themselves.

For library appeals and new classroom collections, we can set up a wish list for parents and carers to buy from directly. We’ll gather the books together and deliver them to the school in one go.
